Alistair
CEO / Co-Founder
Alistair has 35 years’ experience as a Producer, in film financing, media management, IP development and investments. He ran Disney’s European production division for seven years, worked with Andrew Lloyd Weber at The Really Useful Group and now heads up both Prox & Reverie and Firebrand VFX as CEO.
Martin
Director / Co-Founder
Martin has been in the XR industry since 2013 with Prox & Reverie being the second immersive business he has built. With skills ranging from filmmaking and industrial design, to perception psychology and lucid dream research, XR innovation has become his natural home, in his natural hometown, Doncaster.
Benjamin
Head of Innovation
Benjamin is a highly skilled Creative Producer specializing in immersive technologies and spatial narrative. Originally hailing from Australia where he developed cutting edge art installation for The National Gallery Victoria, Benjamin now Produces Prox & Reverie’s key innovation projects.
Emma
Head of Operations
Emma keeps the ship running smoothly at Prox & Reverie. With 20 years’ experience in project and facilities management, budgeting, funding, staffing and administration, Emma is perfectly placed to manage P&R’s unique business requirements.
Ian
Art Director
Ian is a hands-on Art Director, Concept Artist and image technician with a keen eye for the extraordinary. He brings to the team a career stretching back over 30 years, and originally studied in the very same building Prox & Reverie now has its home.
James D
Software Developer
James is Prox & Reverie's Software Developer. He makes sure each project runs smoothly, building functionality with skills specifically in Unity and C#.
Ruben
3D Environment Artist
Ruben is our 3D Environment Artist; creating everything 3D, from world and environments, to props and characters. He visualises each project from an artistic point of view.
Lee
Mixed Reality Specialist
Lee is an Electronic Engineer by trade with specialisms in mixed reality, game engine technologies and democratising design. Lee works with us on specific IoT solutions to help solve some of our bigger technical and fabrication challenges.
James S
Studio Technician
If you see anything in Prox & Reverie's Studio, chances are it was built by James. He joins us as Studio Technician, making sure every production runs smoothly and the systems required are good to go.
Dave
Head of Virtual Production
Dave is a specialist in motion design, production and compositing for film and XR. His skillset ranges from Concepting, 3D design and real time graphics to Nuke compositing, with credits including Fast & Furious, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu and Avengers: End Game. He now oversees development at Firebrand VFX.
Haydon
Studio Technician Runner
Haydon is Prox & Reverie's new Studio Runner, coming straight out of school. He takes on all aspects of the business, from general studio running, to developing skills in Blender and photography from the ground up.
Sophie
Head of Marketing
Sophie’s expertise spans Creative Production and VFX. Following a long stint as Marketing Director at MPC & Technicolor she has worked with a number of established VFX and graphics brands. She is also co-founder of dedicated creative training facility; LightForge Academy and Doncaster based VFX outsource company Firebrand VFX.
